US appeals court declares NYC law on sharing food delivery customers’ data unconstitutional

NEW YORK, Aug 5 (Reuters) – A U.S. appeals court said on Wednesday that a New York City law requiring food delivery companies to share customers’ data with restaurants is unconstitutional.

The decision was issued by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan.
